HDFC Securities Senior Commodity Analyst Saumil Gandhi said, “Taking a softening signal from overseas markets, spot gold prices (24 carat) fell by Rs 750 to Rs 62,350 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.” In Comex (commodity market), gold spot stood at $ 1,995 an ounce, which is $ 26 less than the previous closing price. The spot price of gold has fallen below $2,000 an ounce for the first time since December 2023. At the same time, silver fell at $ 21.97 an ounce.
