New Delhi: Google’s vice president of global advertising, Dan Taylor, said that advertisers and businesses will now be able to take advantage of automatically generated ads on the Google Ads platform. Google Ads will be able to design promotional campaigns based on information received from marketers using ‘Large Learning Models’ (LNM) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI). It learns from advertisers’ landing pages and questions that perform well, he said during his recent visit to India. Taylor referred to the Zen AI tools introduced to marketers and advertisers, such as PerformanceMax, during Google I/O on May 10 this year.
He explained how brands such as Myntra, Samsung, HDFC and Tata AIG achieved up to 18 percent higher results using AI. The company said that it also has full attention on the privacy of the users. He said that eight out of 10 consumers acknowledged the importance of online privacy and security of their personal information during the survey of 16,500 individuals from 11 markets in Asia-Pacific. Taylor said this is a real consumer concern and that 70 percent of people would stop associating with a brand if it didn’t happen.
