Greater Noida Authority has launched a scheme for homebuyers. This will help them to clear their dues. In this, they are being given 20 to 80 percent discount. This can be availed till 31st December.

In this, only those allottees can apply who did not get the benefit in the previous OTS schemes. Those who want to apply for this will have to pay the processing fee and 50% of the balance amount. The processing fee will be Rs 2,000 for up to 150 square meters and Rs 5,000 for areas above that. The Authority will accept the applications through Registered Post, Allottee Online Service and Despatch Counter of the Authority. The property department will create a separate register for this and the details of the application will be entered in it.
how much discount
As far as the premium is concerned, the allottee will have to pay simple interest on the defaulted amount. There will be no penal interest on the defaulted amount. On 64.7% additional compensation, the allottee will have to pay 9.5% interest on the default amount till June 30, 2020 and 8.5% thereafter. No penal interest will be charged on the balance. On applying till October 30 for a flat up to 60 square meters, 80 percent discount will be given on the late fee in the lease deed. From October 31 to November 30, this discount will be 60 percent and after that till December 31, it will be 40 percent. In case of flats larger than 60 square metres, 40 per cent rebate will be available till October 30, 30 per cent till November 30 and 20 per cent thereafter. The property department will dispose of the application within 15 days after receiving it.
