Greenery returned to the market amid global signals

Share Market Opening: Amidst the signals from the global market, the Indian stock market opened with a green mark in the pre-opening today. However, analysts said investors are adopting a cautious approach ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision this week. Meanwhile, at 9.20 am the Sensex was trading at 72,227.40, up 0.30 percent or 215.35 points. Whereas, Nifty is at 21,881.75 with a gain of 0.29 percent i.e. 64.30 points. Currently, stocks of 2643 companies are trading in the market. Out of these, the stocks of 1830 companies are seeing a rise. Whereas, a decline has been seen in the stocks of 694 companies. There is no change in the share prices of 119 companies. During this period, buying is being seen in IT, auto and metal sectors.
How is the condition of Sensex Nifty?
Six companies on the 30-share BSE Sensex are trading at a loss. Whereas, shares of 24 companies are trading in profit. On Nifty, growth is being seen in Bank, Auto, Financial Sector, IT, PSU Bank, Reality and Oil & Gas. Whereas, decline is being seen in FMCG, Metal, Pharma and Health Care.
How was the market yesterday?
Investors had to suffer a loss of Rs 4.86 lakh crore in the stock market yesterday. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 72,012.05, down 736.37 points or 1.01 percent. At one time during trading it had fallen by 815.07 points to 71,933.35 points. Due to the fall in the stock market, the market capitalization of BSE listed companies had declined by Rs 4,86,777.98 crore to Rs 3,73,92,545.45 crore. Vinod Nair, head of research, Geojit Financial Services, said that the sentiment in Asian markets was affected after the Bank of Japan (BOJ) decided to raise interest rates after 17 years. Shares of Tata Consultancy Services fell 4.03 percent among Sensex companies. National Stock Exchange’s Nifty fell 238.25 points or 1.08 percent and closed at 21,817.45 points. Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 41 shares were in loss.
