New Delhi : Nifty-50 opened with gains amid strong global cues. In this article, we will tell about the top stocks which have seen price volume breakout today. The Nifty-50 opened at 17,166.45 on Wednesday as against its previous close of 17,043.3. This was a result of strong global signals. Major Wall Street indices closed with significant gains on Tuesday. As investors expect the US Fed to soften its stance on interest rate hikes in view of the current banking crisis.

The Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.14%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average 1.06% and the S&P-500 1.65% in Tuesday night trading. Even the futures linked to them were trading in the green. Tracking the overnight action on Wall Street, Asian market indices were trading higher on Wednesday with South Korea’s KOSPI and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index trading higher.

In early trade at 9:45 am, the Nifty-50 was trading at 17,142.95, up 99.65 points or 0.58%. On the other hand, the broad market indices outperformed the frontline indices. The Nifty Mid-Cap-100 Index and the Nifty Small-Cap-100 Index gained 0.69% and 0.87%, respectively. The stocks which showed price volume breakout today are listed below.
