Train will run at stormy speed
This high speed dedicated railway track will have a main line of 23 km. It will have a high-speed 13 km long loop at Gudha. There will be a 3 km quick testing loop at Nava and a 20 km curve testing loop at Mithri. According to the CPRO of North Western Railway zone, the first phase of the high speed test track will be completed by December 2023. “The project is progressing well and we are looking forward to complete the second phase by December 2024,” Captain Shashi Kiran told TOI.

According to Indian Railways, with the help of high speed test track, testing of trains will be facilitated. This will benefit from static assessment of rolling stock components and vehicles. According to the railways, rail-wheel interaction forces, crash testing, stability testing, twist and yaw testing, wheel offloading test and rapid testing of components are being developed in the project. In this track, 220 km per hour overhead equipment and all types of signaling systems are being provided. According to the Railways, 4.5 km of track has been completed and commissioned. According to the railways, the work on 31.5 km long and 3 km accelerated testing loop is in full swing and will be completed by December 2023.
