Hindenburg report does not threaten Adani Group in Australia

Gautam Adani: Australia in India High Commissioner Barry O’Farrell pointed out that the Adani Group operates a successful business in his country and remains the largest Indian investor. Talking to reporters here, O’Farrell said the situation arising out of the Hindenburg Research report on the Adani group has to be looked into by the Indian regulators and there is no report of the group closing its Australian business.
Providing resources like clean energy and coal
On a question asked about the Adani Group, Barry O’Farrell said – Gautam Adani’s investments in Australia are in full swing and providing resources like clean energy and coal. I haven’t seen any reports that their operations in Australia have come to a standstill. They are still an important investor in Australia investing from India. Gautam Adani-led Adani Group also operates coal mines and solar power projects in Australia apart from a port terminal.
India’s largest investor in Australia
The Australian High Commissioner said that Adani Group is probably India’s largest investor in Australia. He said- He has successful businesses in Australia. In countries like India and Australia where there are economic cooperation agreements, people themselves decide to invest or buy companies keeping their interests in mind. The government does not get involved in these matters. However, he refused to answer the question whether Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who is visiting India from Wednesday, would meet Adani or not.
