New Delhi, Jan 8 Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) will invest Rs 6,180 crore to set up a hydrogen processing center in Tamil Nadu and various other initiatives. The company announced this on Monday.
Earlier, Hyundai had announced to invest Rs 20,000 crore over 10 years from 2023 to 2032 to enhance its efforts in electric vehicle manufacturing, charging infrastructure and skill development.
This is in addition to the investment of Rs 6,180 crore. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government for new investments during the Tamil Nadu Global Investors Summit- 2024.
