Narendra Modi Stadium: It is one of the major cricket stadiums of India located in Ahmedabad. Built on the banks of the Sabarmati River on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, the stadium was established in 1982. It was refurbished ahead of the Champions Trophy in 2006, when three new pitches and a new outfield were built, and state-of-the-art floodlights and covered stands were added. M Chinnaswamy Stadium : This stadium is one of the major cricket stadiums in India. It is located in the heart of Bangalore city of Karnataka. About 40000 spectators can sit in it during a match. The Chinnaswamy Stadium also houses the National Cricket Academy of India since 2000. After Bangalore was chosen by the BCCI as the center of the National Cricket Academy in 2000, many budding cricketers have emerged from the academy located at this ground.
Arun Jaitley Stadium: Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium is one of the oldest and famous cricket grounds in India. The stadium was established in 1883 as a cricket ground. Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium: Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is the main cricket stadium of Hyderabad. It is located in Uppal and has a capacity of around 55,000. Spread over 16 acres of land, the stadium is known for its state-of-the-art facility and has hosted matches of the Indian Premier League as well as several international games over the years.
Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium: The operation of this cricket stadium located in Pune, Maharashtra is with the Maharashtra Cricket Association. It is located in Pune district, next to the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. It is the home ground of Maharashtra cricket team and Maharashtra women’s cricket team, it is also the headquarters of Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA). Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium: It is commonly known as Ekana Cricket Stadium. The seating capacity of this ground, located in Lucknow, India, is around 50,000. The name of the stadium was earlier “Ekana Cricket Stadium”, later the Government of Uttar Pradesh renamed it after the former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The ground is the home ground of the Uttar Pradesh cricket team and also the home ground of the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
