If you forgot to link PAN to Aadhar Card, then there is no problem, the government has given relief, now chance till June 30

The last date to link PAN card with Aadhaar card was March 31, which has been extended by the Income Tax Department. The extension of this deadline has brought great relief to the general public. Now according to the Income Tax Department, the last date has increased to June 30, 2023. By this date it will be mandatory to link Aadhaar card and PAN work. Those who have not done so till now, they will have to complete this process soon.

According to the information released by the Income Tax Department, out of 61 crore PAN card holders, only 48 crore card holders have linked PAN and Aadhaar card. Even now crores of people have not linked Aadhaar-PAN card. Giving relief to such people, the Income Tax Department has extended the last date for linking to June 30. That is, if Aadhaar card and PAN card have not been linked till now, then Aadhaar-PAN card can be linked with a late fee of Rs 1000.

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that the deadline for linking Aadhaar card with PAN card has been extended. This is the fifth time when this deadline has been extended, even after this crores of people have not linked Aadhaar-PAN. If the PAN and Aadhaar card are not linked even till June 30, then the PAN card will automatically become inactive.
