The left-handed batsman from Hyderabad is ready for a big stage in his career after playing innings of 39 (22 balls), 51 (41 balls) and 49 (37 balls). He is currently the highest run-getter in the series with 139 runs at an average of 69.50. Talking about his Mumbai Indians partner Tilak, Suryakumar said, ‘We have been batting together for a long time now. We understand each other very well. It was his day to bat with maturity. He is batting with a lot of confidence and he helped me bat as well.
Kuldeep Yadav made a comeback to the team for the third T20 International and his performance will surely boost India’s confidence. He did not play in the second T20 International due to swelling in the thumb. The left-arm wrist spinner took three wickets for 28 runs in four overs. West Indies batsman Nicholas Pooran has been the biggest problem for India in this entire series but Kuldeep got rid of the left-hander before he could get into the rhythm. All the three spinners – Kuldeep, Akshar, Yuzvendra Chahal did well in the last match and India will need similar performances from them at the Central Broward Stadium.
The pitch here favors the batsmen at the start of the match, but it often slows down as the match progresses, which is confirmed by the fact that the team batting first has won 11 out of 13 matches. As far as the West Indies are concerned, they will not want to miss the chance to win the first series over India after 2016 and will try to put up a better united performance.
