New Delhi, 27 October (Hindustan Reporter). Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that India is emerging as a telecom technology manufacturer and exporter. He said that the world is looking towards India with hopeful eyes.
Avashwini Vaishnav said this in her address at the inaugural session of ‘India Mobile Congress’ 2023 on Friday. Vaishnav said that inspired by the clear vision and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the telecom sector has achieved many milestones in connectivity, capacity and standards. It has also come out of the shadow of litigation and 2G scam.
Communications Minister Vaishnav cited the rapid rollout of 5G services in the country and India’s clear 6G vision, saying that telecom paves the way for digital. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 7th edition of India Mobile Congress at Bharat Mandapam in the capital New Delhi.
It is noteworthy that this is the seventh edition of ‘India Mobile Congress’ 2023. About one lakh people from 22 countries are expected to participate in it. 5000 representatives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) level and 400 startups are participating in it.
