The 30-year-old Jangra, who is undefeated so far in his professional career, trains under the guidance of former Olympic silver medalist Roy Jones Jr. He had to drop down from his previous weight category of 75 kg to compete against the American boxer on Friday.

Before defeating Esquivel, Jangra had won by knockout in four of his six fights. Jangra has also performed well in the amateur circuit. He won a silver medal at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The Florida-based ‘National Boxing Association (NBA)’ is the recognized body for professional competitions.
