Savita had earlier received this prestigious award in 2021 and 2022. She said, “I never thought that I would receive this award two years in a row and that I would be nominated again. I am feeling really great. This is a proud moment for me, my family and my teammates.
Savita said, “When I started playing, I did not even think that I would go so far. Any achievement in team sports is not based on individual efforts but on teamwork. It feels good when your hard work is recognized and it motivates the entire team.
