Indian Constitution: Ramatva should be the crown.

Ram Rajya is a Sanatani system of governance, this fact should be accepted with pride. When in Hague Convention, war rules can be adopted from our Sanatani scriptures then why hesitation in accepting Ramrajya as Sanatani?! This is an all-inclusive, omnipresent, all-touching system of governance. (sub headline)

“Shri Ram” should not be the only name in Indian society and Indian Constitution. Shri Ram should be established as a concept, an institution, an establishment, an energy source, an inspiring element, a basic element in the Indian Constitution and society. Because Ramatva is the basis of Kaliyuga. When “Kalyug keval naam adhara, simar-simar nar utrahin para” then how can our constitution and society be deprived of Ramtva? And why should he be deprived of Ramatva? And, even if he wants to keep distance from Ramatva, for how long can he keep this distance?! Ultimately the Indian society and Constitution have to be Rammay. This is destiny. This should also be the goal. We will have to establish and base Ramatva in all our constitutional, social, educational, religious and family institutions. There is no talk of including Ram in the worship system in our respective places of worship. This is about bringing Shri Ram into the way of life. This is the accurate and appropriate fact of today’s era.

We the people of Kaliyuga are a little more selfish and a little more self-centered, that is why we always consider the name of Ram as an “Abstract Entity” and keep moving forward. It’s but natural. We Indians of Kaliyuga; We have been establishing Ramtva i.e. the inner essence of Ram in ourselves, in the society, in the Constitution, are able to do so, are doing so; Only then, in our times, we are able to see with our own eyes the grand construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and its inauguration. It is Ramatva that has enabled us to see our struggle succeeding after eight hundred years of struggle for generations! We have been successful because our society is being drenched in Ramtva. Ram temple was built because our Ramtva consciousness is becoming awakened.

Our Constitution not only contains the picture of Shri Ram, Mother Sita and brother Lakshman, this Constitution also wants to keep the spirit of Ramatva at its head. The core of our Constitution wants to be drenched in Ramatva. The Indian ruler who will identify, recognize and implement this fact will be the natural and most capable emperor of India in the true sense. The success of the nation lies in the fact that every particle of Ramatva, Indian society, Constitution and symbols should be imbibed in the mind, it should be mental, it should be stable. Shri Ram has been the ideal, inspiration and source of India’s cultural, moral and political values. His personality and philosophy of life are in consonance with our constitutional values. If we imagine our Constitution according to the life story of Shri Ram and actually implement the remaining Shri Ram Charita in the Constitution, then we can get the best, time-tested and timeless constitution of the world. Globality will also be reflected in that Constitution and it will also be applicable throughout the world. After Shri Ram is seated in his house, now the aim of the Indian society, union, power, top should be that Ramtva should be enshrined in its complete form in the Constitution. Our Constitution should include Shri Ram’s kindness, harmony, social unity, justice, love for art, devotion to duty, authority, localism, globalism, loyalty to the land, love for the sky, scientific nature, etc. etc. This should now be the goal of every Indian.

This coincidence may seem like a mystery as to why only the pictures of Shri Ram, Mother Sita and brother Laxman were mentioned in the section on fundamental rights of the Indian Constitution? No one ever said why this came to whose mind. No one discussed planning the picture of Shri Ram in the fundamental rights section; That is, it happened spontaneously, effortlessly, coincidentally! We Indians should understand the implications of this coincidence. The soul of the Indian Constitution resides in its fundamental rights section and in Shri Ram whose biography is summed up in this section.

Along with the picture of Shri Ram Ji in the Constitution, the concept of guarantee of some rights and directive principles of the state is found. It is from this Ramdhari part of the Constitution that we get inspiration not for a secular nation but for a Ramdharma based constitution, society and nation. We do not want a secular nation but a nation related to Ram, because Ram is humanity. We will have to stop considering the land of India, Ram and Ramatva as only eternal. We should not limit Ramatva and accept him in his infinite form only. Our aim should be to provide a society, constitution and a symbol inclusive of Ramatva for every living being, animal and human being of India.

Harmony is the root of Ramatva. Incidents like Shri Ram’s friendship with Nishadraj, eating the false berries of Mother Shabari, giving affection to Jatayu in his last moments, friendship with Sugriva, hugging Hanuman etc. were indicative of the harmony prevalent in his words and actions. Shri Ram calls the forest dweller Hanuman more dear than brother Lakshman and says – “Sunu Kapi Jiya Manasi Jani Una Tain Mam Priya Lachiman Te Doona”; It was a symbol of his vastness. The example of Shri Ram giving importance to Hanuman more than his brother should be a motivating factor for today’s ruling class and the leading section of the society. When Shri Ram is sitting in Shabari’s courtyard and happily eating her false berries, Shabari says in an emotional state – “The lowest of the low, the lowest of the low women.” In those three months I am a restless Aghari. Then the forest dweller Ram replied – Tell Raghupati, listen to Bhamini. Let’s agree to a parting relationship. Celebrating caste, clan, religion. Wealth, power, family and cleverness. How can a man without devotion be like that? It’s like rain without water.” That is, it is related to devotion only, which they believe in. Caste, lineage, clan, religion, pride, wealth, strength, family, qualities and cleverness – despite having all these qualities, a person without devotion looks like a waterless cloud. And look further, when Jatayu’s life is in danger in the struggle to save Mata Janaki from Ravana, then Vulture King takes Jatayu in his lap and gives him love and respect. After this, he performs the last rites of Jatayu in a filial manner. Actions like bravely defeating his enemies like Ravana and Tadka in battle and then arranging for their honorable funeral reveal his greatness and big heart. Ramatva is necessary in the ruler and in the constitution and in the society because Ram himself gave importance to morality over enmity. Remember, when Dashanan’s dead body was lying on the battlefield, his brother Vibhishana was seen hesitating even to perform the last rites of Ravana, then Shri Ram expressed his dignity and said – “Maranantani Vairani Nirvrutam Naah Prapokaam.” “Kriyatamasya sanskaaro mamapyesh yatha tav.” – Hatred lasts only for life. That hatred ends after death. In the present time, our generation has made this arrangement by passing a resolution in the “Hague Convention” to maintain the rules of war and to give respectful funeral to the dead bodies. In Sanatan, Ramtva had implemented these systems thousands of years ago. Shri Ram not only killed his enemies in a heroic manner in the battlefield but after that he did such things as respect for his enemies, proper funeral rites, taking care of their helpless family members, worrying about the governance of his kingdom etc. that the provisions of Hague are not mentioned in the Ramayana. Appears to be lifted.

Establishment of Ramtva in the Constitution and society is an ambitious gesture of today’s era because in the present times we need Ramrajya the most. Undoubtedly Ramrajya is an eternal concept and Ramrajya is the best governance system born from Sanatan, however even in the present times it is most expedient. In fact, the overall Sanatan always remains relevant, that is why it is called Sanatan i.e. always new. Some people and even some of our scholars seem to be giving clarification in the context of Ramrajya that – Ramrajya is not a religious concept! This is a complete lie!! Ramrajya is a Sanatani concept only!!! This is the truth. Ramrajya, being a Sanatani concept, is not only the best governance system even in today’s era, it is also so developed that people of all faiths, sects and sects can live under its rule, following their respective worship methods. There is no situation of division and discrimination on the basis of religion anywhere in Ramrajya. Although Ramrajya is a Sanatani concept, it is a universally accepted governance system due to the virtue of having a sense of sensitivity towards the Vasudhaiva family and living beings. In Ramrajya, the communication between the people and the king, maximum protection of the rights of the people, extreme sense of responsibility of the ruler, awakening of the sense of duty among the people, feeling of protection towards the environment and animals etc. are at their peak. Now the time has come that research and writing work on Ramrajya should be encouraged and accepted in political science. When the rules of war in the Hague Convention can be adopted from Indian scriptures, then why should we have any objection to the inclusion of the qualities of Ramrajya in the Indian system of governance?!

Ramatva is also necessary in governance because Shri Ram had protected an essential element of democracy by giving preference to a local person to become the king. Protecting this feeling, Shri Ram hands over the kingdom of Kishkindha to Sugriva after the death of Bali, and also declares Bali’s son Angad as Sugriva’s successor. When Shri Ram is victorious in Lanka, he not only asks Lakshman to get Vibhishan crowned, but also requests Vibhishan to provide solace, protection and cordial conduct to all the women of the house.

The simple meaning of drenching our governance system with Ramtva would be to make governance a more all-inclusive, omnipresent, all-touching governance system!!
