Singh also addressed the “India Singapore Business Roundtable” on Food & Machinery Sector organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in partnership with the Singapore Business Federation and the High Commission of India in Singapore. The official said the objective of the delegation’s visit was to invite investors to India and enhance trade relations between India and Singapore. . The delegation also participated in Investor Roundtable on Renewable Energy and Electronics and Semiconductors.
Organized by Enterprise Singapore and Invest India, the sessions interacted with business leaders on the potential to enhance investment ties and collaborative ventures between the two countries. Singapore is India’s 8th largest trading partner. According to the Indian High Commission in Singapore, bilateral trade is expected to reach US$ 35.59 billion in 2022-23, an increase of 18 percent compared to 2021-22.
