Indian Navy becomes stronger with the participation of ‘women fire warriors’

Any description of the achievements of the Naval Forces and their contribution to the nation would be inadequate. That is why our Navy is praised not only in India but all over the world. That’s because day by day she is reaching new heights with her new experiments. Now another new chapter has been added to this series. Half the population has joined the Navy. In this season, one thousand ‘Agniveer Mahila Sainiks’ have joined the Navy, which not only increased the strength of this contingent, but also started bringing revolutionary changes in their discipline implementation. Today is ‘Navy Day’. This time this day is also special because now participation of women has also been ensured in it. For the first time in the Navy, a woman commanding officer was appointed on a naval ship. This step of the government is definitely unimaginable and commendable. India has taken another step forward in women empowerment.

However, in the vision of self-reliant India and the aquatic surveillance system, indigenous ships, submarines, INS Vikrant, seaplanes, UAVs i.e. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, are the strengths of our Navy. Their security is impenetrable. She has the courage to drown her enemy in water in the blink of an eye. Talking about the history of the Navy and today’s special day, we have spent a golden era of it. Our Army celebrates ‘Navy Day’ every year on 4 December to commemorate the launch of ‘Operation Trident’ during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. As far as the complete establishment of the Indian Navy is concerned, it was inaugurated in 1612. When the East India Company formed its army named ‘Royal Indian Navy’. At that time, the East India Company had formed this army keeping in mind the security of its commercial ships. But, after independence, the independent system reorganized as the Indian Navy in 1950.

Navy Day is also remembered as the securing of maritime borders and completion of aquatic operations and missions. The responsibility of port visits, joint exercises with the navies of different countries, charitable missions, providing security to the sea shores and maintaining international relations also falls on their shoulders. Not only are there discussions on the unimaginable role of the Navy, their patriotic devotion also teaches the public to respect the Army. There is no person in the country who is not proud of his army. The Navy is the maritime division of the Indian Armed Forces, of which the President serves as the Commander-in-Chief.

However, the Navy is facing some challenges at this time. That challenge is being given by China. In fact, China has been lying in wait for a long time, trying to infiltrate our maritime zone. It is true that most of the information related to the army is not made public, because internal security is taken care of. Still, if any information is given by the army to the countrymen, then it should be understood that the matter is serious. The Navy has received information that China can make a major disturbance in the Indian Pacific at any time. Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar himself told this last week. The issue is indeed serious and cannot be taken lightly. China is in a mood to invade Indian territorial waters through its military forces in the Indian Ocean. However, some Asian countries have even surrendered. He is openly acting arbitrarily in Pakistan’s territorial waters. But he is not daring in Indian territory. They know that Indian Navy will make them worse.

Indian Navy is considered to be the third largest navy in the world. Therefore, China knows and understands the strength of the Indian Navy very well. The water oceans are used for the legitimate economic aspirations of any nation. From this perspective, China has a legitimate reason to be present in the Indian Ocean region for economic activities. But, as a regional naval power in the Indian Ocean region, China is irritated if the Indian Navy keeps an eye on what is happening there. He wanted no one to guard it, and to rule the marine wealth with arrogance. Countries like Pakistan, Taiwan, Nepal etc. remain peaceful, China expects the same from India. But, the Indian Navy is always alert. China also knows that Indian soldiers will destroy them on their smallest mistake. That’s why China moves cautiously.

Indian Marines are also called ‘Water Sentinels’, because they are always alert in the security of waterways. By the way, today on Navy Day, China’s eyes will be focused on our naval display. The Indian Navy will celebrate collectively by assembling a variety of ships and sailors from its Western Command. During the celebrations, Navy Day activities will be coordinated by the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam. Apart from the wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial, naval sub-ships, aircraft and other forces will showcase their skills and energy in a practical display. On this day, the Navy gives an opportunity to the general public to showcase its warships and aircraft by organizing an Exhibition Festival in Ernakulam in which Navy Balls, Navy Queens and other competitions are organised.
