New Delhi: Despite global conditions remaining challenging, the Central Statistics Office (NSO) estimates that India’s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow at a strong 7.3 percent during the current financial year 2023-24. Thus, NSO’s estimate of the potential size of GDP at current prices is higher than the Reserve Bank’s estimate but lower than the government’s estimate.

According to the first advance estimates of NAVO, GDP at current prices is estimated to be Rs 296.58 lakh crore in the current financial year, while it was Rs 272.41 lakh crore in FY 2022-23.
