New Delhi: Due to slow pace of growth in office assets, institutional investment in real estate declined by 21 percent to $ 793.4 million in the July-September quarter of the current financial year. Colliers India gave this information in a report. It was $100.21 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
Real estate consultant Colliers India released the data in a report on Saturday. According to this, there was a huge 89 percent decline in investment in office assets during July-September to $ 79.1 million, which was $ 694.3 million in the same period last year. Colliers India said inflows into mixed-use assets also declined by 73 per cent to $27.2 million during the July-September period from $100.8 million in the same period last year.
However, institutional investment in residential properties increased by 47 per cent to $274.6 million in the third quarter of this calendar year from $187 million in the same period last year. According to the report, there was an investment of $ 340.3 million in industrial and storage assets during July-September, whereas it was only $ 20 million in the same period last year.
