Doctors also not only called yoga necessary to prevent diseases, but also started advising to do it. After this, yoga teachers were appointed in various educational institutions, so it became effective in providing employment. People themselves started teaching yoga by opening yoga centers. Now posts like yoga teacher, yoga instructor, yoga therapist, yoga researcher, yoga assistant were created in various institutions. In the digital era, employment opportunities are also available through online yoga classes. Diseases have also been controlled after the propagation and use of yoga. Along with this, after the opening of a large number of yoga training centers and increase in the number of people learning yoga, the production of materials used in it also increased, due to which new business opportunities were also available.

It is not about an exercise, but a process of finding a sense of oneness with oneself, the world and nature.’

Today people all over the world are celebrating Yoga Day realizing the importance of Yoga. Its acceptance in the world It is a matter of great pride for every Indian that our ancient art of keeping the mind and body healthy has been accepted and appreciated all over the world. India is famous for its heritage and specialties. India is a country of many priceless heritages, due to which the welfare of the world is done. We have shared one of our best heritage Yoga with the world on the basis of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which is for the betterment of the people and it is a matter of great pleasure for us.

The historic moment is still in front of every Indian’s eyes, when the first International Day of Yoga was organized in 2015 with the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and notable personalities from 84 countries. Apart from this, the general public also gathered in large numbers for this first Yoga Day celebration. 21 yoga asanas were performed during this yoga day. This event also recorded two records in the World Guinness. The first record was set for the largest yoga class and the second for the largest number of participating countries. Many yoga camps were organized at different places in the country. People gathered in parks, community halls and other places to practice various yoga asanas. Yoga instructors motivated the people to make this yoga session a success. The enthusiasm shown by the general public was unprecedented. People living in metropolitan cities as well as people living in small towns and remote villages understood the importance of yoga and for this yoga sessions were organized and participated in large numbers. On the same day the NCC cadets entered the Limca Book of Records as the “Largest Simultaneous Yoga Performance by a Single Uniformed Youth Organization”. It was a good start. People not only came out in large numbers to participate in the first International Day of Yoga for the first time, but were also inspired to include yoga in their daily routine. A large number of people were seen at the Yoga Training Centers after the Yoga Day to enroll for various Yoga sessions.

Although the people of India already knew about the importance of Yoga, but the beginning of Yoga Day has taken it further. This motivates them to move towards a healthy lifestyle. On the other hand it was a new concept for many people around the world. They are feeling blessed to know such a great art form. So this day gives impetus to the establishment of many new yoga centers in India as well as abroad.

Today, when a lot of enthusiasm is being seen in different parts of the world regarding International Yoga Day and preparations are on to celebrate it, then this day becomes even more special for India. Yoga was born in India in ancient times and it is a matter of pride for us that this system, which originated in India, has been recognized at this level. It has been celebrated on a large scale in our country as well and preparations are on to celebrate this year as well. Union Ministers and Chief Minister will also participate in mass yoga programs to be organized at prominent places. Yoga is not only useful for the present generation, but it has also become an easy way to create a healthy generation.
