Interview: Kailash Vijayvargiya said- Congress is not in the fight in Madhya Pradesh.

The BJP top leadership has fielded experienced and local strong leader Kailash Vijayvargiya in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Whereas, at present he is also the National General Secretary of the party and looks after the work of the organization. When the ticket distribution list became public, many were surprised to see his name. Everyone said that what such need arose due to which Vijayvargiya also had to be given a ticket and fielded in the elections. Journalist Dr. Ramesh Thakur talked to Kailash Vijayvargiya on this issue. Here are selected excerpts from the conversation with him-

Question: What are the main election issues this time?

Answer: Everyone’s support, everyone’s trust. We have to win everyone’s trust. Shivraj government has brought tremendous development in the state. Therefore we will talk only about development. ‘Ladli Brahmin Yojana’ has not been brought because of any election, it proves that our thinking regarding women empowerment is different and honest. Congress has nothing to say or speak. We are working at conferences and micro level till booth level. Even small party workers and big leaders are involved. This unity will win us the elections. This time Congress is nowhere in the electoral battle.

Question: BJP has again accused Congress of nepotism. Whereas, BJP is also not untouched by this allegation?

Answer: We do not have nepotism here. If someone moves forward by working continuously then he should get a ticket. But, when a party does not rise above nepotism, it is natural to be accused. The countrymen know that the Gandhi family has always had the dominance in the Congress. On the other hand, look at the list of Congress in which you will see how many relatives of Digvijay Singh have been given tickets? There is one candidate who has 54 police cases against him, he was also given ticket. Not only is familyism dominant in Congress, it is also full of criminal faces. It is surprising that those who harass women are also in the elections.

Question: After almost ten years, the party has fielded you in the elections. Whereas, it was not your wish?

Answer- See, the decision is taken after discussion at the collective level in the party. We are disciplined workers of the party, we have to accept every decision of the top leadership. It is good that the party has so much faith in me. However, our mind is on the elections, now is not the time to dwell on the past. BJP is a family, where every election is fought together. BJP is going to form a government with full majority in Madhya Pradesh.

Question: The phase of party-change continues. Countless BJP members have left the party, why so?

Answer- See, dedicated workers never leave the party. Well, BJP is not the only one, this happens in every election, this happens in every party. During elections, leaders come and go here and there. The organization of BJP is very strong, the expectations of leaders and workers are very high. Now not everyone can get a ticket. By the way, those who go also come back many times. But it is certain that good workers have no future in Congress.

Question: Never seen as much activism by BJP as is being seen in the current elections? Is there something wrong?

Answer- Whether the election is small or big, BJP takes it seriously. The whole world knows that our party works round the clock. Workers live among the public. Whereas, other parties do not do this, they just come to the elections and caw like crows. Congress and other parties come at the time of elections, make false promises, mislead the people and go away. Congress had made false promises in the last elections also and now again they are trying to mislead the public by lying. The public has recognized the face of Congress. This time they are going to lose badly.
