Lucknow: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that when any investor decides to invest, the biggest condition before him is trust. Investors come only when they have faith in the leadership, system and future. When the investor gets these three beliefs then he is ready to come to the state. Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday addressed the FDI Conclave UP-Emerging Destination for Foreign Investment in India organized in the Main Hangar under Uttar Pradesh-Invest Pradesh at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. During this, he said that when it comes to investment, investors’ attention is attracted to three-four major topics related to the country. He sees what kind of economy there is in the country. Is the country in a strong position? Is the country’s economy being managed well? Whether the country will have adequate facilities available or not.

He told that if we look at the system of Uttar Pradesh, everyone was well aware of the law and order situation here before 2017. Before 2017, there was politics of discrimination and the systems were crumbling. The economy of the state was weak, due to which new investment and new industry were negligible. Sugar mills were closed. The condition of the farmers had become very weak. There was no growth in infrastructure. Railway projects were stalled. Systems like inland water, multilevel transport facility, airport etc. were in weak condition.

Goyal said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, 140 crore people full of confidence have come out to set an example for the world, while under the leadership of CM Yogi, every person of UP is performing his duty with confidence. Good governance is seen in UP. The Central and State Governments are becoming double engines for the welfare of the poor and developing new infrastructure. Now Uttar Pradesh is not going to stop and stop. In the coming days, India and UP are becoming famous all over the world.

He said that CM Yogi changed the picture of Uttar Pradesh in seven-eight years, its direction and condition also changed. Today is Social Justice Day. It is incomplete until development reaches every section and individual of the society. Some project or the other is being implemented in all 75 districts of UP. No corner of Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Madhyanchal, Paschimanchal is deprived of investment. UP is emerging as the world’s preferred investment destination.

Piyush Goyal said that today India offers democracy, demography and diversity. India will continue to grow as the world’s fastest growing large economy for the next 30 years. It is expected to add another $30 trillion to India’s national economy. Uttar Pradesh will be at the forefront in this growth. Uttar Pradesh today offers one of the best infrastructure and smart industrial policies.
