Ahead of the upcoming IPL season, all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer said he is excited to work in conjunction with coach Chandrakant Pandit and mentor Gautam Gambhir at Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Venkatesh said that Gautam sir coming back will be a huge benefit for KKR. I am really looking forward to working with him. After a weak IPL 2022 season, Venkatesh had an impressive performance in IPL 2023 as a specialist batsman, scoring 404 runs at a strike rate of 145.85 as both number three and four batsmen, including a century off 49 balls against Mumbai Indians. There was attraction.

Venkatesh has played two ODIs and nine T20 matches for India. He said that it is always exciting to be a part of KKR and I feel honored and privileged to play for this amazing franchise.
