New Delhi : Income Tax Department is conducting raids at the premises of Uflex Limited. The department is conducting searches at 64 places of the company in the country. Search operations are going on in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu-Kashmir, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the places of the company being raided.
The packaging company Uflex is accused of sending money to China through hawala and crypto currency. Apart from this, the Income Tax Department has also received information about major irregularities in the transactions in the company. As soon as the action of the Income Tax officials started, the entry of the employees of Uflex into the company has been stopped.
According to the information received from the media reports, the raids of the Income Tax Department are being conducted at about 64 locations in 15 cities. This action is being taken against the company and the directors of the company. Uflex Limited Company has a large scale business in the container and packaging sector across the country. Income Tax Department officials have been conducting search operations at the company’s capital Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Jammu, Chennai, Dehradun, Kolkata, Himachal, Faridabad etc. places in Haryana.
