On Janhvi Kapoor’s birthday, production house Mythri Movie Makers made the news of the film official with a post on social media. The caption read, “Happy Birthday to the mesmerizing Janhvi Kapoor as we welcome the divine beauty on board for RC16.” The film will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana. He also welcomed Janhvi and wrote, “Wishing you a very happy birthday Janhvi Kapoor, looking forward to working with you.”

Earlier, Janhvi Kapoor’s father Boney Kapoor had confirmed this news during an interview. He had said, “My daughter has already shot a film with Jr NTR. She loves every day she spends here on the set. Soon she will also start a film with Ram Charan. Both these boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films and feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully the films will work and he will get more work. She will also soon act with Suriya. My wife (Sridevi) acted in many languages, I hope my daughter will do the same.
