Los Angeles. ‘Titanic’ star Kate Winslet feels she would have benefited from the help of an intimacy coordinator early in her career.

“Every time I had to do a love scene or be partially naked or even a kissing scene, I would benefit from an intimacy coordinator,” Kate told The New York Times Magazine.

The Hollywood actress further said, “It would have been nice to have someone with me, because I have always had to stand up for myself.”

The job of the intimacy coordinator is to help facilitate communication between the actor and the director during intimate scenes.

The 48-year-old actress talked about some of the things she wished she could have said, reports deadline.com.

Kate said: “I don’t like that camera angle, I don’t want to be standing here full-frontal nude, I don’t want that many people in the room, I want my dressing gown to be closer…”

The ‘Finding Neverland’ star added: “Just little things like that. When you’re young, you’re very afraid of offending people or looking rude or pathetic because you might need those things. So learning to speak up for yourself in those environments was very difficult.
