Jawan crosses Rs 500 crore at domestic box office, expected to cross Rs 600 crore

Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ is doing wonders at the box office. The film was released on September 7 and its popularity continues even after 13 days. Talking about the 13th day, Jawan has collected a total of Rs 14 crores. This film has so far done a business of Rs 507.88 crore in India. Which is more than the total earnings of the Hindi version of KGF 2. Looking at the speed with which Jaawan is doing business, it can be said that this will be the first film of Hindi cinema which will be successful in doing business of Rs 600 crore domestically at the box office. The reason for this is that the audience is still inclined towards it. Also, there is no big film coming in the coming week which the audience is eager to watch. The condition of Jawan is such that currently at least 10 of its shows are being shown in each multiplex. The audience capacity in all these shows is covering more than 60 percent of the seating capacity. ‘Jawaan’ was released in theaters on 7th September on Janmashtami. The film had earned Rs 75 crore in India on the very first day. After this, the film earned Rs 80 crore on the first Sunday. Which was its biggest single day collection. It earned Rs 389 crore in the first week itself and now even before completing its second week at the box office, the film has crossed the Rs 500 mark. This film of Shahrukh Khan is ready to become the biggest hit of the year 2023. The film has been made with a total budget of Rs 300 crores, but in just 10 days the film has done a worldwide business of more than Rs 800 crores. On the first day, ‘Javaan’ did a business of Rs 75 crore, out of which 65 crore business was done only from the Hindi belt, the remaining 5.5 crore was done from Tamil and 4 crore from Telugu. On the second day, Jawan had earned 53 crores, of which 46.23 crores were earned from the Hindi belt and the remaining 3.87 crores from Tamil and 3.13 crores from Telugu. On the third day, the film made a jump and collected Rs 77.83 crore. Out of which 68.72 crores were earned from Hindi, 5.34 crores from Tamil and 3.77 crores from Telugu. On the fourth day, the film did a business of Rs 80.1 crore with an increase of 2.92%. In which 71.63 crores were collected from Hindi and 5 crores and 3.47 crores were collected from Tamil. On the seventh day, Shahrukh Khan’s powerful film earned 21.6 crores, of which 20.01 crores were earned only from the Hindi version. The remaining Rs 1 crore was earned by the film from Tamil and Rs 0.9 crore was earned from Telugu. Making a business of Rs 21 crore on the eighth day, the total collection of the film ended at Rs 389 crore. The overall collection of the film in the first week was excellent. Talking about the business of the 9th day, it collected Rs 21 crores. Till now this film has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark.
