The earnings of people in these years were 12.89 percent, 12.10 percent, 11.06 percent, 10.52 percent and 11.58 percent respectively. Meanwhile, per capita income increased at the rate of 2.98 percent in the year 2019-20.

Jharkhand again slipped to number 26

In the year 2000-01, Jharkhand was at number 26 in the country in terms of per capita income. In the year 2011-12, its ranking improved and it climbed 2 places to 24th position. But, once again in the year 2018-19, our state Jharkhand slipped 2 places to number 26.
