Jio AirFiber launch date surfaced, Mukesh Ambani announced the date

Mumbai (Best Hindu News): Air Fiber of Reliance Jio, the telecom unit of Reliance Industries, will be launched on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. September 19. This was announced by Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company’s Annual General Meeting here today. Jio Air Fiber will provide wireless broadband service to homes and offices using 5G network and wireless technology.
Ambani said, more than one crore premises are connected to our optical fiber service, Jio Fiber. Still there are lakhs of premises where providing wire connectivity is difficult. Jio Air Fiber will ease this difficulty. Through this we are expecting to reach 20 crore homes and premises. With the introduction of Jio Air Fibe, Jio will be able to add 1.5 lakh new customers every day.
Jio’s optical fiber infrastructure is spread over 1.5 million kilometers across India. On an average, a customer on optical fiber uses over 280 GB of data per month, which is 10 times Jio’s per capita mobile data consumption.
The annual general meeting also announced the launch of Jio Air Fiber as well as ‘Jio True 5G Developer Platform’ and ‘Jio True 5G Lab’. Announcing the launch, Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said, “We are building a platform that will transform the way Indian enterprises, small businesses and technology start-ups interact with the digital world. Keeping in mind the needs of enterprises, Jio has created a comprehensive platform combining 5G network, edge computing and applications. On the other hand, our technology partners in ‘Jio True 5G Lab’ can develop, test and co-create industry-specific solutions. Jio True 5G Lab will be located at Reliance Corporate Park, Navi Mumbai.
