The company said its wholly owned subsidiary JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited today commissioned its hot strip mill with 5 million tonne per annum capacity at Vijayanagar plant and dispatched the first consignment.
New Delhi. JSW Steel on Saturday announced the commissioning of a hot strip mill at its integrated steel plant in Vijayanagar, Karnataka. JSW Steel told the stock exchange that the company has dispatched the first consignment of steel products from the mill with an annual capacity of 5 million tonnes.
The company said its wholly owned subsidiary JSW Vijayanagar Metaliks Limited (JVML) today commissioned its Hot Strip Mill (HSM) with 5 million tonne per annum capacity at its Vijayanagar plant and dispatched the first consignment. JSW Steel said the plant was ready on March 17, 2024, and commercial manufacturing and sales have started after initial trials.
