Sonamarg is in the valley of a river called Sindh Nala (separate from the Indus River). The place to visit here is Krishnasar Pass, which is known for natural beauty and adventure. Apart from this, there is Vishansar Lake, which is one kilometer long and has great importance for Kashmiri Pandits. Also there is Gadsar Lake trek here. This is a moderate level trek which takes about three days to complete.
