How much is the Kochi Water Metro fare?

This fare is for a single journey. There are also weekly and monthly passes for regular commuters. The specialty of the Kochi Water Metro is the floating pontoons which can stay on the same level with the boat.

what is the route of water metro
The Kochi Water Metro will connect the city and its 10 surrounding islands. It will have 78 electric boats and 38 terminals. The service as the first phase of the project will commence soon from High Court-Vypin Terminals to Vyttila-Kakkanad Terminals. Passengers can travel on both Kochi Metro and Water Metro using the ‘Kochi 1’ card. They can also book tickets digitally.

The Kochi Water Metro service will start on 26 April 2023 at 7 am. This service will continue till 8 pm. On the other hand, during peak hours, boats will be operated every 15 minutes on the High Court-Vypin route.
