Ladli Bahna Yojana Updates: The Madhya Pradesh government is going to deposit the first installment of one thousand rupees each in the bank accounts of 1.25 crore women of the state under its flagship scheme ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’. Under the ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’ scheme, women in the age group of 23 years to 60 years will be given Rs 1,000 per month with certain conditions. These conditions include the condition of not being an income tax payer and the annual income of his family being less than Rs 2.50 lakh. If you do not come under these two conditions, then money will not come in your account.

With the launch of this scheme, the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh will be able to reach out to half of the state’s 2.6 crore women voters.
According to an estimate, in at least 18 out of 230 assembly constituencies in the state, the number of female voters is more than male voters. These areas include tribal-dominated Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Alirajpur and Jhabua districts.
A provision of Rs 8,000 crore has been made for this scheme in the budget of Madhya Pradesh. Women willing to take advantage of the scheme have submitted their forms from March 15 to April 30.
After scrutiny, the government has prepared the final list of beneficiaries who will receive the first amount of Rs 1,000 in their bank accounts on June 10.
In Madhya Pradesh, there has been an increase of 2.79 percent in the number of new women voters, while it is 2.30 percent for male voters. According to official records, out of 13.39 lakh new voters, 7.07 lakh are women.
