LIC Housing Finance Q4 net profit rises to Rs 1,180 crore

New Delhi. Housing Finance Company LIC Housing Finance Ltd. The net profit on a standalone basis has increased by 5.51 percent to Rs 1,180.28 crore in the fourth quarter of the last financial year 2022-23. The company gave this information in a statement on Tuesday. Earlier, the company’s net profit in the same quarter of FY 2021-22 was Rs 1,118.64 crore. LIC Housing Finance’s operating income grew 21.05 per cent to Rs 6,415.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2023 from Rs 5,299.66 crore in the year-ago quarter.
According to the statement, the company’s net profit for the entire financial year 2022-23 increased by 26.40 percent to Rs 2,891.03 crore. In the previous financial year, it was Rs 2,287.28 crore. In the financial year under review, operating income increased by 13.75 percent to Rs 22,656.95 crore from Rs 19,919.07 crore in the previous financial year 2021-22. The company’s board has recommended a dividend of 425 per cent (Rs 8.5 per share) on equity shares of face value of Rs 2 each.
