Light on the unique contribution of Manan Kumar Mishra ji: Guidance of Advocate Pratap Singh in the National Conference of Chandigarh.  Loktej Business, Feature News

In the recently held National Seminar at Chandigarh, Advocate Pratap Singh expressed immense appreciation and respect for Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra, Honorable President of the Bar Council of India.

“Mishra ji contributed to the development of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana with his ability and innovative approach. Under his leadership the Bar Council has scaled new heights. Singh ji added.

The conference was moderated under the leadership of respected Mr. Justice Ravi Shankar Jha, Chief Justice. He was accompanied by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhuwalia, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Lisa Gill, Law Minister and other senior judges.

Members of the Indian Bar, prominent advocates, and other eminent people also attended the conference. Singh ji in his speech emphasized that there is a need for more co-operation between the Bar Council and the Law Minister to strengthen legal education in India.

“When our government and the Bar Council work together, we can bring about an amazing change in legal education.” Singh ji insisted on this.

In conclusion, Singh ji thanked all the members, “Today’s conference shows us how our society can change when we all work together. Hail India.”

About Advocate Pratap Singh:

A prominent personality in the legal fraternity, Shri Pratap Singh has made immense contribution in various capacities – from Member of Bar Council of India to Managing Trustee of IIULER, Goa. Her educational qualifications are B.Sc, MA, LLB, and LLM, which she obtained from Kurukshetra University. Since 2019, he is representing Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh as a member of the Bar Council of India. Singh ji has a strong association with the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency, and has been successful in securing the highest number of votes among all concerned bar associations in the last four council elections. As a visionary, Singh has been instrumental in setting up the International Legal University “IIULER, Goa” and has been a consistent advocate for innovation in legal education in India.

The State Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, established under the Advocates Act of 1961, consists of 25 elected members. These members were appointed from Punjab, Haryana, and U.T. Chandigarh is elected through the prima facie vote system, and they represent registered advocates. The Bar Council of India continues to be the apex organization for lawyers across the country.
