New Delhi: The domestic stock market is trading higher today in the stocks of IT, metals and real estate sectors. The BSE Information Technology index has gained more than one per cent and has emerged as the best-performing sector. Shares of Datamatics Global Services Ltd. have gained more than 10 percent. Only BSE Capital Goods and BSE Consumer Durables declined. 2,155 scrips advanced while 1,352 scrips declined on the BSE. That is, the advance-decline ratio is in favor of advances. Delhivery Ltd was the top gainer in the BSE Midcap scrip with a gain of over 4 per cent. PTC Industries Ltd was the top gainer in BSE Smallcap. It locked at the upper circuit of 20% on BSE. Heavy selling is also being seen in the shares of IFB Agro Industries Ltd and Jai Bharat Maruti Ltd. The BSE Sensex gained 0.21% at 11:45 am Was trading at 62,760 points. The Nifty 50 index was up 0.25% at 18,610 points. HCL Technologies, Infosys and NTPC Ltd were the top gainers in the Sensex pack, while Titan, Larsen & Toubro and Power Grid Corporation Corporation of India) shares declined.
