Lok Sabha Elections: Akhilesh Yadav has lost a lot after the announcement of elections.

There is an old saying in politics that no alliance or leader is anyone’s permanent friend or enemy. The leaders who till yesterday, along with SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, were spewing venom against Modi-Yogi, have today joined the Modi-Yogi government. It is believed that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is largely responsible for this.

Now, as the dates of Lok Sabha elections are approaching, one after another the leaders of the allies are leaving the Samajwadi Party. Now the name of Apna Dal Kamerawadi Party can also be included in this series. Due to resentment between the two parties, the distance has started increasing. At the same time, Bhima has also played with Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad, after which the temperature in the political circles has also increased. The round of discussions is going on. There is also talk that Apna Dal has separated from Kamerawadi party SP, only a formal announcement is yet to be made. Not only are the alliance partners moving away from Akhilesh, many party leaders have also left the Samajwadi Party and this trend is still continuing. Akhilesh, who appeared to be in a very strong position at the time of announcement of elections, has now become quite weak. On many occasions, he himself is seen calling himself helpless.

In fact, ever since the command of Samajwadi Party came into the hands of Akhilesh Yadav, SP has been continuously losing elections. SP has not been able to perform well in the municipal elections of 2014, 2017, 2019, 2022 as well. SP lost the by-elections on Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha seats. However, the results of by-elections held on Mainpuri Lok Sabha and Ghosi Assembly seats have definitely been in favor of Akhilesh.

Similarly, in election after election, Akhilesh made alliance with other parties but after the elections, the knot of that alliance started unraveling. The alliance made with Congress in 2017, BSP in 2019 and SubhaSP and Jayant in 2022 met with the same fate. There was an alliance before the elections and parted ways after the elections. However, due to the 2024 elections, Rahul and Akhilesh have come together again. Now many more names are moving towards being added to this list.

If the situation remains the same, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will have to lose his party Kamerawadi and ASP Chief Chandrashekhar Azad. Akhilesh Yadav is also being said to be the reason for the increased distance between the leaders of these two parties. Apna Dal K leader Pallavi Patel is an MLA from SP. He won the Sirathu seat in the 2022 Assembly elections by defeating Keshav Prasad Maurya. Since then the political relations between Pallavi and Akhilesh had increased. Pallavi was hopeful that SP would send its party president Krishna Patel to MLC or Rajya Sabha. Although Legislative Council elections and Rajya Sabha elections were held, SP did not even consider the name of Krishna Patel, after which Pallavi’s party has also distanced itself from Akhilesh.
