LPG Price Today: Amidst the fluctuations in the prices of crude oil and gas, Indian government oil companies have given a big New Year gift to the people. Indian Oil (IOC), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) has reduced the prices of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 2. This is the second price cut by oil companies within a month. However, even after a nominal deduction of Rs 2, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1755 in Delhi. Apart from this, an increase of 50 paise has been seen in the prices of commercial gas in Kolkata. Here the price of 19 kg commercial gas has become Rs 1869. On the other hand, the price of commercial gas in Mumbai has decreased by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1708.50. The biggest reduction in the prices of commercial LPG has taken place in Chennai. Here the price has been reduced by Rs 4.50. After this, the price here has become Rs 1924.50. Let us tell you that on December 22, the prices were reduced by Rs 30.50.
Domestic cylinder prices stable
The prices of domestic LPG cylinders are stable on the first day of the year. There has been no change in the prices of 14 kg LPG cylinder this month. It is understood that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there has been no change in the prices of LPG cylinders for the last four months. Currently, the price of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi is Rs 903. Whereas, it is Rs 918.50 in Chennai, Rs 902.50 in Mumbai and Rs 929 in Kolkata. Let us tell you that earlier on August 30, Rs 200 was added to the domestic LPG cylinder by the Central Government.
Cooking gas will be available in Rajasthan for Rs 450 from today.
From today, Rajasthan government will give LPG gas cylinder worth Rs 450 to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme. Beneficiaries will be given subsidy on 12 cylinders by the government in a year. It is important to know here that consumers will have to pay the full price while purchasing the gas cylinder. The subsidy announced by the government will be transferred to their bank account. Actually, BJP had promised this to the people before the elections. Earlier, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme used to get LPG cylinder for Rs 500 in Rajasthan. This means that a cut of Rs 50 has been made by the government.
