Manoj Bajpayee revealed the secret on his viral six pack photo, said- the photo was tampered

Versatile actor Manoj Bajpayee recently raised the temperature of the internet when he posted a shirtless picture of himself on the occasion of New Year. The actor captioned the image this way to promote his latest web series titled Killer Soup. He wrote, “New year, new me! See the effect of the delicious soup on my body. Absolutely killer look, isn’t it?” Fans went crazy after seeing the fitness of the 54-year-old actor, who is known not for his physique but for his acting skills. Now, in a recent conversation with a media outlet, the Joram actor revealed that the picture was part of a promotional campaign and not real.

When asked about Vartan, Manoj Bajpayee told The Indian Express, “It was morphed. This was a campaign strategy of Netflix. So, they wanted to start a campaign on a high note with intrigue and they succeeded in doing so.”

The three-time National Film Award winner was recently seen in Zoram. His latest series Killer Soup premiered on Netflix on January 11. The black comedy crime thriller series also stars Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead role. It revolves around Bunny, an ambitious but untalented nurse-turned-home chef who plots to replace her husband with her lover. It is reportedly based on a 2017 case from Telangana. The series is directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
