Market remained sluggish before the announcement of interest rates

Share Market Opening: Indian stock market is looking dull before the announcement of interest rates by the Reserve Bank. Weak signals are coming from the global market. At 9.20 am, Sensex is trading at 74,065.59, down 0.22 percent or 162 points. At the same time, Nifty is seen slipping by 0.21 percent i.e. 48.10 points at 22,466.55. Meanwhile, today the results of the last quarter of the last financial year of many companies will also be declared. It is being told that the impact of the rise in crude oil is also visible in the Asian market. Today, stocks of 2902 companies are traded in the stock market. In this, stocks of 1601 companies are trading in profit. Whereas, red mark is visible in the stocks of 1185 companies. At the same time, stocks of 116 companies remained unchanged.

How is the condition of Sensex-Nifty?

Six companies on the 30-share Sensex of BSE are trading in profit. Whereas, red mark is visible in the stocks of 24 companies. Mixed trading is being seen on Nifty. A decline of 225 points is being seen in the IT sector. Whereas, growth is being seen in banks, financial services, FMCG, pharma and consumer durables.

Sensex and Nifty had reached new record levels on Thursday with a gain of half a percent. Buying in IT, consumer durable goods and banking stocks played an important role in this rise in the stock markets. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex closed at its highest ever level of 74,227.63, up 350.81 points or 0.47 percent. During trading, the Sensex was in the range of 74,501.73 to 73,485.12 points. National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty also reached its new peak of 22,514.65 with a gain of 80 points or 0.36 percent. Out of 50 stocks included in Nifty, 31 closed with gains. With this rise, the market was successful in recovering from the decline of the last two sessions.
