New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it has increased prices of all its models by about 1.1 per cent. The company has increased the prices for the second time in the current financial year. Earlier in April 2022, the price of vehicles was increased. Maruti Suzuki had said in December last year that it would hike the prices of its vehicles to cushion the impact of rising input costs. Along with this, the prices have also increased due to making the model compliant with the stricter emission norms that will come into effect from April 2023.
The company told the stock market, the average price of vehicles of various models will increase by about 1.1 percent. This indicative figure has been calculated on the basis of ex-showroom price in Delhi. This increase will be applicable from January 16, 2023. The company sells a wide range of vehicles from its entry-level small car Alto to SUV Grand Vitara, priced between Rs 3.39 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
