New Delhi: There is a big shock for those who are thinking of buying MG Comet EV these days. MG Motors has increased the price of its cheapest MG Comet EV by Rs 10,000. The car manufacturer has released new rates for all its variants. MG Motors has increased the price of all its variants except one variant of the Comet EV. After the new prices, the ex-showroom price of MG Comet EV starts from Rs 6.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.24 lakh.
Three variants of MG Comet EV are available in the market. These three variants are Executive, Excite and Exclusive. The option of fast charging is also available separately in Exclusive and Excite variants. MG Motors has increased the prices of all its variants by Rs 10,000 except one variant. The company has not changed the price of only the executive variant. The ex-showroom price of the executive variant of MG Comet EV is Rs 6,98,800.
After the price increase of MG Comet EV, new rates have been revealed. The ex-showroom price of the Excite variant of Comet EV has become Rs 7.98 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of its fast charging variant has become Rs 8,33,800. The price of exclusive variants of Comet EV has also increased. After the increase in rates, the price of this variant has become Rs 8.88 lakh. Whereas the price of its fast charging variant has become Rs 9,23,800.
This electric hatchback has a 17.3 kWh battery and generates maximum power of 41.42 bhp and 110 Nm torque with the electric motor. Comet EV has a single charge range of up to 230 kilometers. Compared to other variants, some features are less visible in it.
