But no country has taught us the lesson of democracy and judicial independence on someone’s dismissed parliamentarian. Jaishankar had said, ‘We have beliefs, we have values, but we do not take oath of office with a religious book in hand, we do not need to take a certificate from those who do so.’ Against the background of all these developments and foreign reports, the main reason was the propaganda of the Congress leaders about Indian democracy.

Talking about the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s membership, when the Supreme Court had given a decision to cancel the membership of the Parliament and the Legislative Assembly on the declared judicial sentence of two years, then the cabinet of the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had passed an ordinance. . That was the response of the judiciary. Through the ordinance, provisions were made to save tainted and convicted leaders. Rahul Gandhi suddenly went to the Press Club of India and tore the copy of that ordinance and said – ‘Nonsense!’ As a result, the cabinet had to take a decision to withdraw that ordinance. Had the ordinance been implemented legally today, Rahul’s parliament would have been saved. However, now the decision of the Supreme Court is in force. Under that, the membership of 15-20 leaders has been cancelled.

In fact, we have been hearing for a long time that the Parliament, Courts, Media, Democracy, Constitution are ending in the country and the government is being run through dictatorship. It also amounts to contempt of court. The question is how is this possible today? If there was an attempt to destroy democracy and the Constitution by taking it hostage, it was done during the prime ministership of Rahul’s grandmother Indira Gandhi, when Emergency was imposed in the country in 1975. Even Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister never spoke anything against India on foreign soil. Learn a lesson from Rahul Dadi only. In India, the constitution, laws, courts and fundamental rights of the average citizen are protected. Elections from Panchayat to Parliament are conducted on time. There is also ideological, political, religious freedom.

Rahul has legal options even today. They have to choose between Indian law and foreign interference. He can still challenge in the court. He should also go to the court, as the Patna High Court has also sent a notice to appear on April 12. The people of the country have also more or less rejected him. However, India has been a nation with ancient, democratic civilization and culture. Senior Congress MP Rahul Gandhi can give any statement, this is not a new thing. If he is a Lok Sabha MP continuously since 2004, it is only because of democracy.

America and European countries have been giving advice to the Government of India regarding human rights, minority protection and freedom of expression. In such a situation, how effective can Germany’s statement prove to be in the interest of Rahul Gandhi? Who can teach a lesson to Indian democracy? India has good relations with all the big countries. This is not the India of yesteryear. India is the fifth largest economy in the world today. Rahul Gandhi’s case is India’s own internal matter. Another humble advice to Rahul Gandhi is to curb the sycophantic Congressmen. Now Congress spokesperson is comparing Rahul Gandhi with Lord Shri Ram and ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is being termed as exile of Ram. Due to this, Rahul’s parliament cannot be restored, nor can the vote bank of the party be expanded.

There is not much time left for the 2024 general elections. Congress will have to go among the countrymen by taking issues related to public interest through a meaningful campaign. He will have to work hard to gain the confidence of the countrymen. He has to surround the government on issues of public interest. At the same time other opposition parties have to make him believe that he is the only party who can lead the opposition and without him it is difficult to remove the Modi government from power. The questions Rahul Gandhi raised on India’s democracy in Britain, putting him in the dock and urging foreign intervention for the restoration of democracy, is hopeless frustration beyond reality.
