It is the duty of the teacher to understand the role of language and explain the role of language to the children. Language is not just verbalization. Today there is a need that Hindi should be taught not only as a subject but also as a language. There is a need to give a clear vision while teaching Hindi to children. While studying Hindi, one has to be taught the skill of understanding the nature of ideal Hindi, writing poems, stories, expressions of feelings and deepening the understanding of emotions by reading written material. If seen, Hindi is much more than a subject, with Hindi we develop practical understanding in children by giving them perspective to live life. Therefore, Hindi is much ahead of the competition of asking questions and getting marks, it should not be kept in the bag just as a subject but should be reflected in behavior as a skill. While reading the delicate poet of nature, the feeling of love and gratitude towards nature should be awakened; while reading the poem of patriotism, one should grow with the feeling of patriotism with the determination to become a capable citizen; while reading the story, one should learn how to apply the knowledge with the situation. There should be skill development and creation of such future citizens in which Hindi language is very helpful. There should be reflection on why and how to teach and study Hindi.
