Our language is a reflection of our own personality. Language is a medium of ideological exchange, language is the most reliable medium of expression. Language is an important means of construction, development, identity, social and cultural identity of our society. We can say that human life is incomplete without language. The expansion and development of language is man’s own development. Language itself acts as a bridge between mutual knowledge, relationships, ancient civilization and modern progress. Human life cannot be imagined without both its written and oral forms. The urge to express ourselves has given us the name of individual, it is this characteristic that has given us the highest position among all living beings.

As a language teacher, a teacher is most important and dear to his students. We never forget the language teacher who taught us how to read and write for the first time in our primary classes. Although the child automatically learns the language by listening to the language spoken in his family and around, but pure writing and speaking can be learned only through language teaching. In which teacher and school have an important role. It is in school itself that students develop the ability to structure basic sentences, which equips them with correct writing and speaking skills. Therefore the role of school and teacher is important in language teaching. Language is the basis of knowledge. Every language has its own nature, keeping this nature of the language in mind, it has its own ideal form. It is the duty of the teacher to understand the role of language and explain the role of language to the children. When a student’s love for a language increases, teachers cannot help but feel proud after seeing it flourish. Language is very helpful in personality building. First children learn to read and then read to learn. Language provides direction to the knowledge of other subjects, for which there is a need to prepare children from the primary classes itself. The main objective while teaching Hindi should be to develop the vision of humanity in children. The purpose of teaching Hindi is to understand life which creates a civilized society. There are many dimensions of usefulness of language. When children’s interest in their language increases, they will feel proud of their language. Unless we as teachers inculcate this feeling in children, we will not be successful as teachers, nor will children be able to understand the role of language in their lives.

At present, knowledge and science are continuously trying to include the solar system within its reach, from the depths of the ocean. On the other hand, the structure of language in children seems to be disintegrating. There is an absolute need to tighten it. There are many reasons behind this, one of which is that we are teaching language only as a subject, whereas children are taught to read with understanding and to look at their language in such a way that we are building our society through language itself. We build our society and create an environment around us. There is an absolute need to provide such understanding. Today, while studying language as a subject, the effort to recognize its true nature and understand it has been abandoned. Whereas language itself decorates, beautifies, makes the personality attractive and influential. It is the responsibility of us teachers to prepare children for future life to communicate with the outside world. Prepare for rich understanding of language. Children’s thinking power is enriched by language only. To enrich the vocabulary, to make it interesting, to increase the language proficiency of children, in which the role of teachers of primary classes of children is mainly important.

When a child understands Hindi as his own language well from his early classes, he acquires discipline in the language, skill development, practical analysis of simplicity, clarity and correctness along with proficiency to speak and write his language in an organized and pure manner. Takes. Which helps him in communicating with the outside society, which enhances his personality and gives him confidence to pursue further education in the outside world. Practically speaking, some incorrect words used in life have been incorporated into the language in such a way that it is difficult to separate them from the standard language. Therefore, it is the responsibility of teachers to make children know the pure form of the language. Teachers have an important role in this work. It is through language that a person connects with human emotions. Language itself provides a person with the skill to express humanity. Language is not only a medium of expression but also a medium of cognition. Is there a difference between what is being said and what is being received and understood? If there is a difference, it means that the language has not been used properly. When the language is experienced with expression and it will be understood, Only when creativity will develop in the language will the language express itself in its ideal form. Language is not just verbalization. It is a reflection of our surrounding society, when we express our views, when we express our language, then we create a society, we create a society, hence language has an important role in life. As a teacher, while studying and teaching in the classes, as a Hindi teacher, we should not see the language only as a subject, we should see the language as a preparation for life because when children study in the classes, they also learn other subjects. He prepares for the language.

At present, efforts are being made in the Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh to make Uttar Pradesh proficient, under which special emphasis is being given on reading the language with understanding and its pedagogy. This is a commendable step. This mission has drawn the attention of teachers, parents, children and every official concerned with education and the general public towards the importance of language in the basic skills of learning of the child. In this mission, with special emphasis on Hindi, emphasis has also been laid on imparting basic education of children in their mother tongue, which is welcome and commendable.

Today there is a need that Hindi should be taught not only as a subject but also as a language. There is a need to give a clear vision while teaching Hindi to children. While studying Hindi, one has to be taught the skill of understanding the nature of ideal Hindi, writing poems, stories, expressions of feelings and deepening the understanding of emotions by reading written material. If seen, Hindi is much more than a subject, with Hindi we develop practical understanding in children by giving them perspective to live life. Therefore, Hindi is much ahead of the competition of asking questions and getting marks, it should not be kept in the bag just as a subject but should be reflected in behavior as a skill. While reading the delicate poet of nature, the feeling of love and gratitude towards nature should be awakened; while reading the poem of patriotism, one should grow with the feeling of patriotism with the determination to become a capable citizen; while reading the story, one should learn how to apply the knowledge with the situation. There should be skill development and creation of such future citizens in which Hindi language is very helpful. There should be reflection on why and how to teach and study Hindi.
