What is the minimum investment
In the scheme, an amount of up to Rs 2 lakh can be deposited in the name of women or girls for two years. A minimum of Rs 1,000 and a maximum of Rs 2 lakh can be deposited under the scheme. Interest at the rate of 7.5 per cent per annum will be compounded on a quarterly basis and will be credited to the account. Explain that the deposit will mature on completion of two years from the date on which you have deposited the money.
