washington (Best Hindu News): Billionaire Elon Musk has announced to step down as CEO of Twitter. Musk said that he has chosen Twitter’s new CEO. However, he has not yet announced the name of the new CEO. Musk, the owner of the microblogging platform, has indicated that Twitter’s new CEO will be a woman.
Musk told on Twitter that the new CEO of the company has to join within 6 weeks. The new face is NBCUniversal executive Linda Yasarino, reports the Wall Street General. She will soon take over as CEO of Twitter. Musk told on Twitter that now he is going to put himself in a new role. Musk will now be Twitter’s chief technologist.
On Thursday, Elon Musk wrote on Twitter – The company’s new CEO will start work in 6 weeks. However, he did not disclose the name. Yasirano, who is currently the chairman of global advertising company NBCUniversal Media, is being named as CEO. However, he did not respond to an email sent by Wall Street. Representatives of the company say that at the moment it is preparing for further presentations and advertisers.

Elon Musk has also given further planning. He said in gestures that he wants to take Twitter beyond the social media platform and make an app that has all the useful features. Financial services will also be included in this. Recently they also stopped the option of free blue tick subscription to earn money and started charging $8 for it every month.
Many challenges are already prepared in front of the new CEO of Twitter. The company’s earnings are continuously declining and the revenue from advertisement has also decreased. The company’s earnings have fallen by 50 per cent since October. Charging money for the blue tick option also broke 1% of users. Musk also ended thousands of jobs. Musk has a friendly relationship with Yasirano and the two companies recently partnered during the Olympic Games.
