He said that for this, he announced the launch of a website named ‘My Bharat.gov.in’ and appealed to the youth to register on it and join various programs. The Prime Minister appealed to the countrymen to buy more and more local products and to fulfill the resolve of ‘self-reliant India’. He said that at the beginning of the month, on Gandhi Jayanti, a sale of more than Rs 1.5 crore was made in a single day in the Khadi store located at Connaught Place, Delhi. He said that 10 years ago the sale of Khadi products in the country was barely less than Rs 30 thousand crores, today it has increased to around Rs 1.25 lakh crore. Increasing sales of Khadi means that its benefits reach different people from city to village. Weavers, handicraft artisans, farmers, Ayurvedic planters and cottage industries benefit from this sale.

Referring to the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, Modi said that on this occasion, the main function related to Unity Day is held on October 31 at the ‘Statue of Unity’ in Gujarat, but this time, apart from this, a very special program is organized on the path of duty in Delhi.
