Due to the heavy rains of the monsoon season, rivers and streams are in spate at many places. Lakes, ponds, puddles etc. have become full of rain water. Due to heavy waterlogging and debris hitting, the streets and residential areas have also turned into deadly drains. Due to this, shocking pictures of destruction of life and property of people are coming from different states of the country for the last few days. The government-administration system seems to be completely bowing down being helpless and helpless in front of nature’s attack. Providing immediate relief to the people by evacuating them safely from the midst of deluge is proving to be a very difficult task. It is becoming a challenge for the system to provide electricity, water, food, medicine and a safe place to cover the head for the people affected by natural calamities. Because of which people of many areas of North India have been forced to live in flood-like conditions.

North India, which has been facing the wrath of the scorching heat, was eagerly waiting for the monsoon, people hoped that the monsoon would give them relief, but in the monsoon season, when the rains were to give relief to the people from the scorching heat, at that time The rains became a great calamity for the people. Due to the deluge, the heavy spate in the rivers and drains at various places caused water-logging, tremendous soil erosion and debris caused great trouble. For the past several days, various parts of the country have been witness to severe devastation due to the fierce thunder from the mountains to the plains, which has left people homeless and claimed the precious lives of 19 people. Have done the work. From the country’s capital Delhi to the states of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, etc., relatively more rains in the month of July have made life miserable for the people.

Although the Central and State Governments are constantly making efforts to provide relief to the affected people, but due to the heavy devastation, those efforts are currently proving to be ‘cumin in the camel’s mouth’. Heavy devastation due to rains is coming out with new painful picture, now people have to bear heavy loss of life and property due to rains. People are engaged in defeating this calamity with the help of the government and each other. Due to heavy rains and release of excess water from the dam, the capital Delhi is at risk of flood like in the year 1978, Yamuna river is continuously flowing above the danger mark. In hilly states like Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal, rivers and storm water drains are at their peak, whatever is obstructing their way, they are bent on carrying it away like a straw, erosion on the mountains, land Subsidence, crumbling mountains, landslides, huge boulders and debris have become enemies of people’s life and property.

On the other hand, if we talk about the plains, in the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan etc., water has been filled in the populated areas, in which the road has sunk in, and due to the collapse of the walls of the buildings, people have lost their lives and property. Losses have to be incurred, whereas in crowded areas, heavy traffic jams have made life difficult for people, animals and other animals. The record-breaking rains in the month of July this year are repeatedly creating disruptions in the Amarnath, Char Dham and Kanwar Yatras, the Central and State Governments are constantly battling the challenge of making these religious pilgrims reach home safely. After years through the weather, nature has once again given a clear message to the residents that either learn to live in harmony with nature or else be ready for heavy loss of life and property every year in the coming years.
