Sarangi told reporters here, “Our effort is to speed up the trade talks. Earlier, the deadline to complete it was kept till last Diwali, but it had to be extended due to various reasons. However, efforts of both the sides are to complete the talks as soon as possible. He hoped that some significant progress would be seen in this period. The process of negotiating a free trade agreement between India and Britain started on January 13, 2021. This dialogue includes 26 policy issues.
