This will be India’s first REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) IPO, which will be backed by rental retail real estate assets. Currently there are three listed REITs on the stock exchanges. But all are supported by Office assets. The company will raise Rs 3,200 crore through its Retail REIT IPO.

The IPO of Nexus Select Trust will open on 9 May. For anchor investors, the issue will open a day earlier i.e. on 8th May. Investors will be able to bid in it till May 11. After the completion of the IPO bidding, the allotment of its shares will take place on May 16. The money will be refunded to the account of such investors who will not get the shares on May 17. It may be listed on the stock exchange on May 19. The total size of the IPO is 3200 crores. Out of this, shares worth Rs 1400 crore will be issued. Whereas, existing investors of Rs 1,800 crore will put their shares up for sale.

Global investment firm Blackstone-sponsored Nexus Select Trust has filed its offer document with market regulator SEBI for its IPO.
